Monyca Cedillo

My name is Monyca Cedillo. I am a Journalist student from Cerritos College.I am the second oldest of eight siblings.

My family is the most important for me. I am Mexican-American and feel very proud of my roots. I understand both English and Spanish.

I love to read because it helps me use my imagination and transport me to a new wonderful world.

I love to hear music i like all type of music. I listen Spanish music. I love bachata and Regional Mexicana. My favorite band is One Direction and when I hear their music it makes me feel free.

I love to watch Soccer. It is one of the best sport I support Real Madrid Fc and a Mexican team Guadalajara Fc.

Chantal Romero

My name is Chantal and I’m currently pursuing a degree in Political Science and Sociology. Writing is my hobby and most recently journalism writing has been my focus. I’m passionate about getting to know other cultures and their way of life because it allows me to better understand different points of view which can often times differ from mine. As a Platforms Editor for Talon Marks I find myself engaged in social media more often than I use to.  I find it amusing how these platforms extensively impact the way society now gets their information. Through this blog I hope to become more aware of the issues that affect the LGBTQI+ community in an effort to become a more inclusive member of society. Although I enjoy being passionate about the serious issues that affect our society, I am guilty of enjoying overly simplistic and unreal reality TV shows, constantly re-reading Harry Potter, updating my Snapchat, and excessively sharing memes. I thrive to keep a balance of humor and seriousness.

My name is Liz Sainz,
I’m an undergraduate major on Journalism AA-T, Administration of Justice AA, and Culture Anthropology AA.

My gold is to obtained my bachelor’s degree either from UCLA or CSUF.

I would like to exercise my practice as an entertainment journalist reporter from the one of the world biggest entertainment WWE Monday night RAW.
On my free time I like to mediate with candles and incense to keep your mind focus open minded for new life challenges.

Working out to stay healthy to live healthy helps me think more clearly to make life decisions.

I also like watching dramas from different parts of the world like China, Japan and South Korea. I like to learn about different cultures, their art, food, customs and language.
